Our hearts go out to Andrew and the National Park Mountain Rescue Team who recently lost their beloved mountain dog, Bramble, to Leukemia.
Bramble saved countless lives in her work as a member of the Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team.

It typically takes around 2-3 years to train each mountain rescue search dog, with the volunteer time required equating to an investment of around £60,000. These incredible dogs can smell what humans cannot see, making them invaluable, especially in adverse weather conditions.2/3
