Yesterday, a KY judge struck down a provision in SB 4 designed to kick public school employees off school board ballots.
I warned against this back in April. We should be welcoming their experience, not punishing them.

Everyone knows how hard I’ve worked to be a champion for our service members in the legislature. We must fully fund veteran services and organizations like @USACares so our veterans get the support they've earned and don't become another statistic of suicide or homelessness.

The benefit of having a civilian legislature is that you can be a normal human outside of the politics. The cool thing for me is that I really enjoy both jobs 😁

Both in politics and in life, it's amazing what you can accomplish if you don't obsess over who gets the credit. I'm holding true to that in Frankfort. Unfortunately, President Trump's obsession with having his name on everything only has the opposite effect.
