I am a woman from a small village in northern Iran. Jailed for protesting. Beaten for showing my hair. Expelled from parliament for exposing their corruption. Forced into exile. My sister was paraded on state TV to publicly disown me. My brother was imprisoned as punishment. My mother was interrogated to stop her from expressing love for me. Assassins were sent to New York, three times, to kill me. And now I’m supposed to sit next to them at the U.N. Security Council. It is shocking … it doesn’t matter whether your CNN or Fox news, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a republican or democrat, this is really important. …This is Robert Malley, Biden's special envoy on Iran, meeting with Masoud Pezeshkian, the so-called president of the Islamic Republic. Malley is not a journalist. Yes, he is a private citizen today, but he is also a former U.S. government official. He should have more sense than to sit down with officials whose regime sent assassins to kill an American citizen on American soil. The FBI arrested them. All three attempts on my life happened during the Biden administration, while Malley was the envoy. He should know better. Malley has a soft for Islamist regimes. During Woman Life Freedom, right after both men and women were getting shot in the streets, Malley reduced the anti-regime protests to: people of Iran want «respect and reform» from the regime. It created a huge outrage. I launched a petition calling on him to resign because of his fondness for the Islamic Republic. In just one day, the petition received more than 100,000 signatures. The State Department reached out and asked me to take down the petition. I didn't. It's still there, and I paid a huge price for it. Iranians continue to reject this regime. In January the regime murdered thousands of protesters over a weekend. I find it hard to believe Malley can be so insensitive to the plight of Iranians

So I have one request: can you find a common ground on this too help us stop the execution of these innocent Iranian protesters? Let me introduce these women to you. They joined an uprising with empty hands. No guns. No weapons. They demanded freedom, dignity, and the right to live their own lives. I constantly talk to the relative of those who have been killed and those who are waiting to be hanged. These women are not terrorists. They are like women everywhere they just don’t want an oppressive government. I reject the attempt to portray peaceful protesters as armed enemies in order to justify killing them. So I am asking President Trump, Mayor Mamdani, European leaders, and democratic governments everywhere: use your voices now. Say the names of those facing death sentences. Demand that the executions stop. And to Kaja Kallas: you met with regime’s s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at the United Nations. But, please keep pressing. Please say the names of those at risk and demand concrete answers. There is also a painful reality that women around the world should understand: female officials can sit across from Islamic Republic officials with their hair uncovered, while women in Iran have been beaten, imprisoned, shot, and killed simply for showing their hair or wearing inappropriate hijab. That freedom should not end at the doors of a diplomatic meeting. Use your platform. Use your political power. Use your voice before another Iranian woman or man like Ali Zarei the blinded protester is taken to the gallows. Help us save them while they are still alive and make their executors accountable. Masoud Pezeshkian, president of the Islamic Republic, in an interview with @FoxNews has claimed that during the January protests, the regime killed only armed individuals. I testify that this claim is an outright lie. You killed unarmed teenagers. You shot young women who went into the streets empty-handed to demand freedom. You raided hospitals, hunted down injured protesters, and terrorized those who dared to help them. You targeted doctors and medical workers who were trying to save the wounded. I learned of a deeply disturbing case involving Salehe Akbari, an Iranian nurse who secretly helped wounded protesters during the January uprising, and her husband, Ahmad Khodaei. Salehe was shot dead inside her own home during a raid by security forces. Her husband says that after killing her, agents later accessed her body in the morgue, subjected her body to sexual abuse, and sent images to him an allegation that, if confirmed, points to a deliberate attempt to terrorize and psychologically destroy him. Ahmad had sent me evidence and accounts of the psychological torture he says he endured, as well as details of how his wife was killed, directly through my Instagram. Today, I was shocked to learn that he has reportedly attempted suicide after months of threats, intimidation, and sustained pressure. His current condition remains unclear. Salehe and Ahmad had been helping injured protesters receive medical treatment while avoiding state-run hospitals because they feared the wounded would be arrested. Days later, their own home was targeted. Salehe was killed. Ahmad says he was beaten, detained for 11 days, and repeatedly threatened to remain silent about what he had witnessed. Salehe and Ahmad were a young couple in love. They had hopes, a future, and a purpose. Their “crime” was trying to save the lives of wounded people. She was shot in her home. She was unarmed! He was detained, threatened, and subjected to psychological torment. Yes your regime in Iran seeks not only to silence people, but to break them and everyone who loves them. #IranMassacre
