My discover card moved to Capitol One today. The biggest disappointment. Horrible service--the ladies I spoke with did not speak clearly and you dare not say anything negative out of fear of what they can do to your account. I will be closing the acct ASAP, after everything is has moved over and I can get out. Terrible account summaries, terrible service--women were mean and rude in their responses, very threatening. Discover lied to me as to the transfer and how seamless it would be. It is NOT seamless and the worst part is the terrible customer service.

Hi Capital One, I've been a customer of yours for about 25 years. Rarely request a chargeback. But, it appears, after requesting X cancel my Premium service three WEEKS before the service is due for renewal at the end of August their useless customer service is now informing me they CANNOT cancel the renewal subscription as I need to do it through my Stripe account. (X screwed up my account by changing it from a paid subscription to a "gift subscription" even though it's NOT a gift subscription, so I am unable to manually cancel the upcoming payment myself according to X's rules). Considering I don't HAVE a Stripe account through X for this X account as I just paid for it with my Capital One credit card via X's website, I am unable to do that. What else do you need for evidence that I have requested the cancellation other than screenshots of my conversation with their "customer service"? As, sadly, it appears I will have to request a chargeback on my credit card when X's next subscription payment that I have not authorized and do NOT want to pay for is charged on August 31st. CC: @ElonMusk who really needs to change the way the customer service deals with paying customers.
