It all looks pretty good- looking forward to trying it! 😋 On a signature train do you just get the one option (that’s all that’s on the menu online) or do you now get two menus (a little confusingly…..)

Looks so nice for the 3 people (and 4 staff) travelling in 1st class this afternoon who have 2 entire carriages to themselves whilst the rest of your paying customers are rammed in like it’s a bingo bus! Who decides 2 whole carriages need to be set aside for so few people?

This is how you do train catering. £4.20 BLT. £6.50 meal deal. £1.90 water. £2.90 tea. Kids box £4.90. Locally sourced. Yorkshire Tea. Harrogate Water. The TRAIN is cheaper than most station WHSmiths. Every other TOC charging £3.50 for water and £8 for a sandwich: this is your evidence that it's a choice, not a necessity. LNER proves you can price fairly on a moving train and still run the service. When one operator proves the model works, every other operator's gouging becomes indefensible. More of this. Every route. Every TOC. builduk.club transport charter. Cap onboard pricing at high street equivalent. LNER is already nearly there. Without being asked.

If you have breakfast you can’t have lunch, not what it used to be. No breakfast plates a lot and you get a bacon roll instead and don’t dare ask for a beer it’s frowned upon

But remember it’s a complimentary service and food is not guaranteed. Learnt that the hard way with a packet of crisps and biscuits for breakfast due to a faulty kitchen so no partial refund
