Here’s Hagar back in 2014, 12 years ago discussing Dirty Politics and ironically calling out his enemies for “digging for dirt”. He also urges Journalists to do proper research instead of relying on twitter. Compare this interview with his one two days ago, it is 12 years since, however he seems to have seriously declined, which may explain the seriously far fetched book. Dazed, desperate and confused.

What is it 2 days since this book was launched and it is all falling apart already. In the book Hagar claims the Board paid out for an employee harrassed by Jordan Williams - and then next morning he’s saying that “oh it was so secret that board never even knew about it” He then admits that “he’s not rock solid” on some of the aspects and hasn’t spoken to the actual people involved. Shaping up to be quite an expensive foray for a book written by dude who is nearly 70, who doesn’t understand that it’s not 2005, lots of the public are on social media 24/7 now. Nicky would have been better to let A.I loose on substack, reddit and X and instruct it “here write a book”.

Yesterday we saw yet another Matthew Tukaki double standard. The @nzherald published a story by @MikeThorpeNZ about war medal cheating, concerning an RSA President. Thorpe references and quotes New Zealand’s foremost expert on military medals, Ian Martyn, and his Facebook page which he uses to expose medal cheats. On this page, there are also posts from Martin exposing Matthew Tukaki’s claims that he served in the Australian Military. In a social media post, Tukaki claimed 6 Australian Defence Force medals on the left of his jacket, which is where you pin your own medals: An Australian Active Service Medal, Afghanistan Medal, Australian Operational Service Medal (Border Protection), Australian Operational Service Medal (Greater Middle East Operations), 15 year Defence Long Service Medal, Australian Defence Medal, and, the NATO Medal with an "Afghanistan" clasp. Tukaki has never mentioned his military service in interviews and it doesn’t appear in his LinkedIn profile. His name also doesn’t appear in searchable Australian Defence data bases available to the public. So here’s the question…How is the Head of a News Service claiming an extensive but false military history not news worthy? Are @waateanews and @williejackson05 both comfortable with their General Manager’s claim of decorated military service? Since the post on April 25th, Tukaki has appeared on the @theplatform_nz with @SeanPlunket who correctly went after James Shaw regarding his incomplete University qualification but as far as I am aware Plunket has never even mentioned the stolen valour issue with Tukaki, ironically the Platform even features a segment called holier than thou with @bespin3r calling out hypocrisy. Tukaki has even featured in several NZ Herald articles by Joseph Los'e, the New Zealand Herald's Kaupapa Māori Editor, but again there has been no mention of the stolen valour incident. So why the double standard by media? More to come….

Well this could get VERY interesting. 😂 Paramount is reportedly considering bringing Elon Musk in as an equity investor as it combines with Warner Bros. Today my petition asking for legislation changes to be made for those who commit crimes against children was presented to the house of Representatives by Laura McClure. These changes include asking for mandatory jail sentences (no home detention) and no discounts because of age, ethnicity, unbringing, remorse etc. Unless or until we start getting real about sentencing those who commit the most heinous of crimes then we will get nowhere with the child abuse rates in this country. In New Zealand, children are much more likely to be abused by somebody they know than by a stranger. For sexual abuse, the offender is commonly: *a family or whānau member; *a parent, step-parent or parent’s partner; *an older relative or sibling; a family friend; *a teacher, coach, caregiver, religious leader or another trusted adult; *another young person known to the child.
