I got lines on my first day at high school, 'I must not touch the MACHINERY' Metalwork teacher left the room for 2 minutes to see which dafty would mess around, ofc i obliged hook line and sinker, i'm busy winding the lathe when he sneaked in then screamed at me, i shat it 😬😬

When I got in trouble in 4th grade, Mr Verven would make us copy pages from our math book, pages 308 & 311. One of those was a multiplication table. 10 copies per offense. A penalty I benefited from my entire life.

The question that should be asked is how many of us boys and girls figured out a way to tape our pencils together to make it write 2-3 lines with one. Writing lines… Ugh… That was the worst. Getting your father’s belt smacking was better than than this. Over in less than 30 seconds, then dad would ask if you e learned your lesson. Of course you did. Perhaps it’s time to bring back corporal punishment back to schools. Just a thought.

Me, I went down the rows vertically to assembly line way through faster. I's then the wills, then the nots, etc. Cant remember what I did but it was nothing anyway. K💜🇺🇸
