“Al-Muslim akhu al-Muslim” (المُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ) is an authentic saying of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. “A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not wrong him, he does not abandon him, and he does not despise him.” This hadith beautifully teaches the bond of brotherhood, compassion, & justice among Muslims. It also reminds every believer that Islam is built on unity to protect one another, to help one another, and never to harm or look down upon a fellow Muslim.
