Aliens (1986) I honestly think there are very few sequels that can go toe to toe with this. Terminator 2 and Evil Dead 2 are some that stand up.

RoboCop (1987). The suit was about 80 pounds of foam and fibreglass. First day it took Weller close to eleven hours to get inside it. Dallas in August. Over a hundred degrees. Three pounds of water off him every day until they piped cold air into the tin.Murphy looks like steel. He was a man cooking in rubber. That walk was earned.

Michael Douglas. Wall Street. Romancing the Stone. Falling Down. The Ghost and the Darkness. Same man. Four temperatures. I like the range. The smile in the jungle and the stare on the kerb. He can sell greed and still look like he would help you off a bus.

Lethal Weapon (1987) This is a proper Buddy cop movie.
