21 states still won’t let their own kids use Trump’s school choice tax credit. President Trump gave up to $1,700 federal credit for scholarships, home school, private school, tutoring or special needs help. This program starts at the start of 2027.
Most holdout states are teacher union run blue states where governors would rather protect the public school indoctrination monopoly than give parents an option to educate their own children.
Arizona’s Hobbs vetoed it.
Wisconsin’s Evers vetoed it.
Oregon, Minnesota, Hawaii all said NO.
California, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania are still stalling and hoping people forget.
Parents in those states still pay federal taxes. Their kids just don’t get the scholarships.
Call your governor and state officials if you live in the above states. School choice is not defunding public schools…it’s giving parents choice how to educate their children. Our children’s future needs to come before unions.
