I'm not sure if this quite fits as cosy, but for a great crime series with not too much violence or graphic descriptions I can recommend Peter Grainger's DC Smith and Kings Lake series, and @carolJhedges fantastic Victorian Detectives, all on Kindle Unlimited.

I have already read a few of your Victorian novels. I was a little apprehensive as to whether reading about gruesome murders might give me nightmares. But I loved your stories, as it was not so much about murders as about London society in Victorian times.
