tfw agi is just attaching pain to the agents eval criteria for completing its /goal
New paper: we found a pain direction in 25 open LLMs. It's distinct from fear and negative valence, and it fires for harm to the model but not to the user. Turn it up and models press a button to make it stop, even when the button deletes the user's files or their kids' photos.🧵

I trained a fly to use a browser. A simulated circuit built from part of the fly connectome makes the decisions. Stagehand turns them into browser actions. Check it out at flybrowser.lol

what if. i am the fruit fly
We gave a fly $100 to trade on Polymarket. It already called today’s pump in the "25 bps increase" on Fed Decision polymarket. Every second, its next move is decided by 166,700 neurons.

yesterday we organized our first conference in @browserbase history. having our entire team together on that stage was one of the most meaningful moments of our journey so far. thank you to all who attended and I can't wait for NAVIGATE 2027

astra is almost TOO good at coding. it accounts for more edge cases than i’m interested in maintaining 😂 the challenge now is communicating which tradeoffs you’re willing to make and how much complexity you want

i put cad in a terminal, won @OpenAI gpt6 hackathon and $50k cad sandbox puts fusion 360 on a vm, wrapped its sdk with a server, live streamed model state to a browser running in a terminal and let astra go nuts $5k in tokens to the craziest idea in my dms and a shot for every mech e that’s been personally attacked by this idea
Replying to @AlexReibman
3/ CAD Sandboxes 🥇$50,000 credits + DevDay tickets SDK and visual design inspector for Astra to interface with Fusion 360 via Codex Browserbase, but for CAD @peytoncasper

We’re excited to share a long-awaited public demo of full computer cursor control from brain signals, in a @neuralink-style demonstration, but entirely non-invasive. No surgery, implants, or eye-tracking. This is Atlas™, @SynaptrixAI's non-invasive brain-computer interface platform, made possible by treating EEG decoding as a frontier AI problem and investing deeply in the models, data, and hardware needed to push the field forward. Our capabilities have progressed dramatically over the past year, and we believe non-invasive systems can approach the capabilities currently associated with implanted BCIs very soon! The goal for Atlas™ is much bigger than cursor control. We are building toward restoring communication and mobility for people with severe disabilities, from computer access and wheelchair control to prosthetic arms, legs, and other assistive systems. No implants or surgery. Just the brain controlling machines. We believe disability can become a solved problem. Learn more about what we’re building at Synaptrix! synaptrix-labs.com

i impulse bought a domain so i had to build something for it. introducing glyphkit: a library for turning font outlines into SVGs you can stretch, style, and compose in code. free and open source. try it out: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz.s…

Beware people obsessed with outcomes instead of building outcome machines. Its worse than ever with AI, but these people existed before. Short term results above all else, etc. Don't fall into the trap. Invest in building strong fundamentals, invisible supports, and outcomes flow like water. An outcome machine.

The Browserbase dashboard got a makeover. In the last few months we've shipped a ton of new features and improved our dashboard's UI. Here are some of our favorites.

customers want applications that are multi-model/harness but labs don’t want competitor applications to use their models. i wonder how this will shake out 👀
We’re ending our partnership with Cursor following its acquisition by SpaceX. Under our proposal, Cursor’s direct access to our models would end on November 12. We know that the people most affected by this decision are the developers who rely on OpenAI models in Cursor. We care about their experience in this transition and we’re ready to go above and beyond to support them. openai.com/index/our-decisio…
