URGENT SENIOR IN BARROW COUNTY, GA‼️ This is my second time posting Apollo, and unfortunately, the shelter is starting to take a toll on him‼️💔💔He’s pacing more in his kennel and just doesn’t seem as happy as he was when I first met him. 💔I really love Apollo. He’s what I call my gentle giant. He’s 8 years old, walks perfectly on leash, and truly just wants to be loved. When I take him out, he’s happiest standing beside me while I sit there and pet him.💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏🙏 Then I have to put him back, and that part is getting harder.💔 Apollo spent eight years as someone’s dog before being surrendered following an incident that was described as protective rather than aggressive.👍 I also spoke with his owner’s girlfriend, who told me he previously lived with dogs and cats and did well with them, although that is not included in his official shelter notes. The boyfriend’s dad did not like Apollo from the beginning and was trying to get him out.😭 Reality is the shelter is FULL, and Apollo is showing us that he’s struggling.‼️He’s a senior who just wants someone beside him.
