RIP @SwayDasafo 💔 I am very sad to hear that UK rap legend 'Sway' has passed away at just 44yrs old! He was a hugely talented artist & lyricist who after becoming the first unsigned rapper to win a MOBO Award in 2006, went on to release lots of excellent songs & productions...

He was committed to using his personal success as a platform for discovering & promoting other new artists (I greatly admired this) 🙏 We first met in 2013 when he reached out for advice on how to use social media better(!) which led to us collaborating on some small projects...

All of Sway's music is excellent & although I love all types of rap music, his was some of my favourite for his skill, cadence & the positive, uplifting & motivating messages that ran through all his songs....

I had many great songs to choose from but always included 'Level Up' in the playlist for my Newcastle Startup Week / UK Startup & Scaleup Week festivals to motivate both myself & the delegates who attended...
