During my Ahmedabad visit, I had the opportunity to visit the Adani Group’s state-of-the-art Energy Monitoring Centre.
Through a fully integrated platform, their power generation assets are monitored in real time, enabling better efficiency, faster decision-making and reduced downtime.
Impressive to see how technology and data are transforming the way large-scale energy infrastructure is managed. Thanks to my friend Karan Adani for hosting me this evening.

It was a pleasure to meet Mr Jigish Doshi, MD of Vishakha Group, in Ahmedabad.
The group has expressed interest in developing a flexible packaging plant and a renewable manufacturing project in AP. With companies such as ReNew and Premier Energies already investing in the State, AP is emerging as a strong clean-energy manufacturing destination.
Mr Doshi and his team would be visiting the state soon to visit prospective sites for their upcoming investments.

Had a productive meeting with Mr Alkesh Panchal, Vice President – Corporate Affairs, Astral Pipes Limited, in Ahmedabad. I invited Astral to set up a pipe manufacturing facility towards southern Andhra Pradesh, tapping into the State's rapidly growing construction and infrastructure ecosystem.
We assured fast-track approvals and a highly competitive incentives package. With Astral’s strong manufacturing footprint and nationwide distribution network, Andhra Pradesh can be an ideal base for its next phase of expansion.

Good meeting with Mr Deepak Gondaliya, Global President, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, in Ahmedabad.
I invited Emcure to explore setting up a biosimilars facility at the Nakkapalli cluster, along with API and fermentation-based bulk drug manufacturing at the Nakkapalli Bulk Drug Park.
With Emcure’s strong capabilities in biologics, complex injectables and biosimilars, Andhra Pradesh can offer the right ecosystem for their next phase of expansion. Mr Gondaliya assured us that Emcure will explore the opportunities proposed by the State Government. We are building Nakkapalli into a globally competitive hub for pharmaceuticals and life sciences.

Pleasure meeting Mr. Bajrang Bothra, Chairman of EPACK Group, in Ahmedabad.
With Visakhapatnam rapidly emerging as a major data centre hub, EPACK is setting up a dedicated prefabricated construction facility in Vizag to support the growing data centre ecosystem. I was delighted to learn that their prefabricated unit for Google’s data center will generate 3000 jobs in Vizag.
EPACK already has a strong presence in Andhra Pradesh through its manufacturing operations at Sri City and its PEB and insulated sandwich-panel facilities at Mambattu, including the Phase II facility that commenced commercial production in April 2026.

Met Shri Gautam Jena, Vice President – Strategy & Sustainability, ST Telemedia in Ahmedabad today. STT is one of India’s largest operating data centers companies with over 600 MW under operations.
ST Telemedia expressed their interest in developing a data center in Visakhapatnam as it rapidly emerges as one of India’s major data centre hubs. With Google already commencing work and players such as Reliance moving forward with large data centre investments, Vizag offers a strong ecosystem for the next wave of digital infrastructure.
We spoke about emerging trends in the data center space - that include zero discharge air cooled systems. We also spoke about the wide ecosystem benefits of data centers.

I met Shri Kanubhai J. Thakkar, Chairman & Managing Director of Gokul Agro Resources, in Ahmedabad today.
I invited the Group to expand its existing Krishnapatnam operations by setting up palm oil and soybean oil refining facilities in Nellore.
Gokul Agro already operates a 1,400 TPD edible oil refinery at Krishnapatnam, and I am glad that Andhra Pradesh has earned their confidence as an investment destination. We look forward to supporting their plans to further expand in the southern market.

Met Shri Nitin Jain, CEO of Welspun World, and Shri Chintan Thaker, Director, in Ahmedabad and pitched Andhra Pradesh for the Group’s next phase of expansion.
I invited Welspun to set up a Global Capability Centre in Visakhapatnam and explore an integrated industrial park in Kakinada spanning textiles, logistics, DI pipes, pipe coating and green ammonia.
We also reviewed the progress on proposals discussed with Hon’ble CM @ncbn at Davos last year. Welspun already has a growing footprint in Andhra Pradesh, and we look forward to building on this partnership.

In Ahmedabad on a investment promotion roadshow, I visited the Torrent Group office today. Torrent is among the most respected Gujarat based business houses with a pan-India footprint. I made a strong pitch for Andhra Pradesh as the destination for their next phase of growth.
In my discussions with Chairman Shri Samir Mehta, Shri Shaan Mehta and Shri Jignesh Mehta, I highlighted opportunities across APIs and advanced intermediates, solar, wind and hybrid energy, pumped storage and green hydrogen.
With Torrent expanding its clean-energy footprint and targeting 10 GW of renewable capacity by 2030, Andhra Pradesh is ready to partner with them at scale.

Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, as gateways on India’s eastern and western coasts, have a unique opportunity to work together on a Coast-to-Coast logistics and trade corridor, sharing best practices in port-led industrialisation, private port development and maritime connectivity. I also proposed the setting up of a Tirupati Balaji temple in Ahmedabad in consultation with the TTD.
I invited Hon’ble CM to the Vijayawada Utsav from October 11–20 and the 2027 Godavari Pushkaralu.
