@EITMonline drove out of range of DC101, downloaded @iHeartRadio and searched up the station. Worked flawlessly. One note, sounds like the voices are mixed differently, or it’s a secondary mic. Still better than hearing them slowly consumed by static 👍

It’s weird (maybe not that weird) because no other unit combo, like km/L or N·m, flips contexts so much. I had an experience living in the Seattle area that might be unique to me. I got in the car and heard the last half of Weezer’s ‘Hash Pipe’. It was 2001, first time hearing the song. When it ended, the DJ said ‘That was Sting …’ 🤯 It wasn’t a mistake, he was just listing the set since the last commercial break and didn’t mention Sting’s track name and it wasn’t until he said ‘and the new one from Weezer - Hash Pipe’ that I realized how stoked I was for Sting that he had put out such early Police sounding song at 45 or however old.

Issues with grok voice interface:
0) I love grok and use it more than google, so these issue affect me but i work around them. Just thought I’d use my Massive Social Media Reach to better mankind.
1) Sometimes stops recording when you pause in speech (750ms), not helpful because it still requires a submit button push
2) Sometimes stops recording when you pause in speech, and then when you continue, this overwrites the pre-pause speech.
3) If you attempt to edit text while it is purple (recording mode) it will revert if you click the record button. So you delete an old prompt, click record (oops it was already in record mode), and you have to delete it again because it has reappeared
4) Unpredictably, after a voice prompt and answer, the recorder is left open, so when you go back to grok there is unintended input from unrelated conversation
