The TV network pool has now stopped covering President Trump’s events, including Chinese President Xi Jinping’s arrival.
Refusing to follow a court order while a high-profile foreign leader is on the grounds is a direct challenge to both press access and the rule of law. Media outlets have asked for an immediate hearing. This is not how a functioning democracy handles coverage it dislikes.
