We were honoured to welcome @ShafiAhmed5, a world-renowned Surgeon, Educator and Healthcare Innovator. His pioneering work in digital health, virtual reality and medical education continues to shape the future of surgical training and new approaches to lifelong surgical learning. Professor Ahmed launched Surgeon AI, the first global AI surgical training platform, which was unveiled at the University of Galway. Designed to support Surgeons throughout their professional journey, from medical school and examinations through surgical training and independent consultant practice, Surgeon AI has the potential to transform how Surgeons are trained, assessed and supported throughout their careers.
