That's the point. They're. It's an obvious fallacy, pretending the British occupiers of the islands aren't really British and then asking them if they want to remain so and when they inevitably answer 'Yes' in a North Korean style referendum just shy of 100% approval, you use it to justify an illegal occupation and the theft of resources from another country.
