The older I get, the more I realize that life has seasons. And not every season needs to be your best one. Some seasons are for building. Some are for healing. Some are for just surviving. You don’t have to win every single chapter for the whole story to turn out well.

This took me way too long to internalize. We spend so much energy beating ourselves up for being in a "holding pattern" when really that's just the soil preparing for the next growth cycle. Constant output isn't sustainable for anyone.

I can confirm that. My life has also had its ups and downs, with different seasons and different chapter titles. The good and bad phases take turns, so never take the good times for granted, and never believe that the hard times will last forever.

I've started realizing that not every phase of life is meant for growth. Some phases are meant for stabilization. Taking care of family. Protecting your health. Keeping the income going. Avoiding unnecessary risks. Growth can wait. You can optimize again when the ground is steady.
