I think many people, myself included, are put off by Josh Shapiro’s speaking style in which he clearly appears to be mimicking the speech patterns of Barack Obama. It makes him seem in authentic and phony. The last thing this country needs is a fake politician leading it again.

It’s not an over performance. The average Dem who carries the state for Governor is mid 50’s. He is actually underperforming. Rendell won with over 60% in his reelection. Folks need to learn about a state first before opining on it

Despite those howls, Shapiro will turn out to be a strong contender to be our first Jewish president, although Ossoff and Pritzker will give him a run for that honor. Lots of buzz around JB in New Hampshire, interestingly.

Of course the former Republican wants a say in how we do politics in the Dem party. You don't get a say. You were happy to be a part of the GOP before Trump, and they were an existential threat back then. They tried disenfranchising Black voters before Trump.
