BIG NEWS from @awscloud and @nvidia 🤝 We're announcing a major expansion of our strategic collaboration for next-gen AI infrastructure. ⬇️ Building on 16 years of joint innovation, AWS will deploy 2 million additional NVIDIA GPUs across its global infrastructure in 2027–2028—and that's just the start. The two companies are deepening their work together across AI factories, CPUs, networking, open models, data processing, and robotics. This expansion gives customers even more ways to build and deploy AI at scale.

🚨BREAKING: Amazon's drone delivery network is about to get a whole lot bigger. Prime Air plans to expand to nearly 500 cities and towns by the end of this year. That means many more customers across the country will be able to get items delivered by drone in as fast as 30 minutes. 📦 Millions of items under 5 lbs are eligible, from medications, to groceries, to electronics. Amazon's drones are reinventing what fast means. Here's an inside look at the future of delivery. ⚡ Nearly all items 5 pounds or less that fit in a large shoebox can be delivered ultrafast by drone—we're talking snacks, headphones, last-minute gifts, and more. Our drones use onboard cameras and sensors for navigation, obstacle detection, and safe delivery. Oh, and they're fully electric and can fly in light rain and a range of temperatures. ⬇️

Before it ever ships, Amazon packaging gets dropped, shaken, squeezed, and slammed in a lab designed to push it to the limit. ⬇️ Behind the scenes at Amazon's Packaging Innovation Lab, durability tests help us make sure reduced packaging, easier to recycle materials, and sometimes even the product’s own packaging can protect products during shipping. ✅ Drop tests simulate the bumps of transit ✅ Vibration tables replicate the rumble of road and air transport ✅ Compression machines mimic stacking in a truck The result is less material, less waste, and packaging built to go the distance.

Our strategic partnership with Novo Nordisk expands today as they announce that they've chosen AWS as their preferred cloud provider and strategic AI partner to help accelerate drug discovery. We will combine Novo Nordisk’s scientific expertise with AWS’s AI tools, including Amazon Bio Discovery (biology AI models to design and test drug candidates) and Bedrock AgentCore (infrastructure for building AI agents that run real workflows), and also stand up a co-innovation hub in London where their scientists and our engineers work side by side.
